P&G Protest Grows for 5th Year

This year's event was the most successful yet. We kicked off the weekend's action with a protest outside P&G's new offices. Despite pouring rain, we placed a wreath outside the building to commemorate the thousands of innocent animals who have suffered and died at the hands of P&G. A petition was then submitted to P&G containing 100,000 signatures. Report and photos.

Calling all activists in the London area!!

Uncaged Campaigns plan to hold a demo outside the Kennel Club (1-5 Clarges Street, Picadilly, London WIJ 8AB) to protest at their scandalous and shameful decision not to disassociate themselves with the pet food company Iams/Eukanuba, who have been conducting horrific and invasive experiments on previously healthy cats and dogs. The Kennel Club were given copies of all the 24 full published articles detailing the torture inflicted by Iams/Eukanuba. Despite the incontrovertible evidence therein, the Kennel Club have disgracefully come out in full support of Iams/Eukanuba and will continue to promote their products and allow Iams/Eukanuba to (for example) have huge stalls at their public events, such as Crufts. Please attend on Wednesday 22nd August from 12 noon to 1.30pm.

General Election Special Report

What happens when democracy conflicts with the interests of the pharmaceutical industry? Our new report looks at the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and the Government, and the direction of policy (particularly on animal experimentation) through this relationship - thereby bypassing normal democratic processes such as Acts of Parliament, the rule of law, and statutory advisory bodies such as the Animal Procedures Committee (APC). More.
