We lead a global consumer boycott of P&G in protest at their continued use of animals in cruel and deadly toxicity tests for the sake of cosmetics and cleaning products. P&G make animals suffer for brands like Fairy, Herbal Essences, Olay and Pantene.

MEPs under fire for vivisection law betrayal
Uncaged is accusing MEPs of ‘looking the other way’ while a draft law on animal experiments is being stitched up by Government and industry behind closed doors. New clauses relating to national laws and alternatives would render the new Directive even weaker than the minimal 86/609 Directive it was intended to improve upon. Please contact your MP urgently using our news article as the basis for your letter.

The British public will be sickened by the huge increase in the number of cruel animal experiments. The 454,000 rise in the number of painful experiments in 2008 to 3.7 million is the biggest in modern times. Records for dying animals in British labs - exposed by Uncaged - reveal the suffering lurking behind these figures. This intensification of the systematic slaughter in British labs is a wake-up call for every one with a conscience to say - ‘enough is enough!’

Animal
Protection and the European Parliament Elections
The recent votes on a new EU law on animal experiments have provided
the ultimate test of MEPs' and the parties' commitment to animal protection.
All voters in Great Britain will have the chance to cast a vote for a
party in elections to the European Parliament on June 4. Please
use this wisely to give animals a better chance in the next five years,
and show MEPs that there is a political cost to condemning animals to
pain, suffering and distress. Read Dr Dan Lyons' analysis here.
